GC Women’s Cross Country Ranked Seventh in Region Preseason Poll

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its preseason rankings recently, with Georgia College Women's Cross Country taking the No. 7 slot in the Southeast Region.

Only three other Peach Belt teams rank higher than the Bobcats in the latest poll, led by No. 2 Flagler College. The University of North Georgia is fifth, with Columbus State University one slot ahead of the Bobcats. Augusta University rounds out the list in 10th. The top slot belongs to Queens University.

The Bobcats will hit the road for their second meet of the 2019 season at the Mountain Dew Invitational, in Gainesville, Florida, Sept.14.
