GC Women’s Cross Country Takes Seventh Slot in Region

NEW ORLEANS – For the fifth straight week, the Georgia College Women's Cross Country team is ranked seventh in the Southeast Region, according to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Region Rankings released Tuesday.

The Bobcats are third among the five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools on the list, a group led by No. 3-ranked University of North Georgia, with Augusta University coming in sixth. Flagler College is No. 8 and UNC Pembroke is positioned No. 9. Queens University from the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) maintains the top slot in the region.

GC Women's Cross Country has appeared on each of the five polls during the regular season as well as the preseason poll.

The Bobcats back in action when they travel to Columbus, Georgia for the PBC Championships Saturday, Oct. 21.
