Bobcat Volleyball Falls in Three at PBC Leader

AIKEN, S.C. – The Georgia College Volleyball squad (6-11, 0-2 PBC) lost in three sets on the road at Peach Belt Conference (PBC) leader USC Aiken (20-1, 4-0 PBC) Friday night.

GC dropped the first set 25-7, then came a 25-15 and 25-17 effort to close the evening. The Bobcats had trouble getting the offense going, hitting a negative number as a team for the first time since Aug. 24, 2018.

Junior Libby Bochniak (Marietta, Georgia) led GC with five kills. Freshman Emily Long (Mooresville, North Carolina) had a double-double with 14 assists and 10 digs. Junior Jordyn Moellering (Cumming, Georgia) led three Bobcats in double-digit digs with 22, joined by Long's 10 and Bochniak with 16.

The Bobcats are back in action tomorrow, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m., traveling to Lander University.
