MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Volleyball team is excited to host a Kids Clinic from 5-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 25 in the Centennial Center.
The clinic is open to all girls and boys between the ages of four and 12, however, the team does request that all parents stay for the duration of the clinic. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring water; knee pads are not required to participate.
There is no experience necessary just a willingness to learn. Throughout the night, kids will learn all the tips and tricks of being a great volleyball player, have hands-on lessons from the players and coaches themselves and ultimately leave the court feeling more equipped with their new-found skills.
Towards the end of the night there will be an autograph session with the team, where kids can hang out and receive autographs from their favorite players and coaches.
The team acknowledges the lack of exposure most kids in the Milledgeville area have to the game of volleyball and they hope through this clinic to share their love of the game with the surrounding community.
