AUGUSTA, Ga. – Georgia College Volleyball (4-2) swept matches from both King University and Albany State University Saturday to close out the Jaguar Rumble at Augusta University.

The Bobcats out-lasted King in four sets, 28-26, 25-27, 25-23 and 25-22 in the morning. GC then took three sets from ASU by scores of 25-14, 25-15 and 25-10.

"This was a great weekend for the Bobcats," said head coach Gretchen Krumdieck. "We learned how to push through a tough four and five set match and then closed with a three-set win. This team is full of fighters and left it on the floor this weekend. I'm very encouraged for our tournament next weekend in Louisville."

Statistics aren't yet available for the tournament.

GC Volleyball is back in action Friday, Sept. 20 at the Bellarmine Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky. GC squares off with Truman University and the University of Charleston on day one.
