AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its first weekly honors of the new season Tuesday, with Georgia College Volleyball junior Libby Bochniak (Marietta) being named the PBC Volleyball Player of the Week.
Bochniak had an impressive first weekend, tallying three double-doubles in as many matches at the 2019 Bobcat Classic. She had one near 20-20 match with 19 kills and 20 digs against Limestone Saturday, and rattled off 23 kills in the win over Tusculum Friday.
This is the second such honor for Bochniak in her career.
The Bobcats are back in action Friday, Sept. 13 at the Jaguar Rumble in Augusta, squaring off with Emmanuel College.
