MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior Taylor Svehla (Cumming) of the Georgia College Volleyball team was named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for her efforts during the week ending Nov. 18.
After holding her without a kill in the first set of the NCAA Regional quarterfinals, Svehla would soon unload on Augusta University, recording six kills in two of the last three frames, propelling Georgia College to a 3-1 victory over the Jaguars. Svehla would record a team-leading five kills in the first set of the second-round matchup with USC Aiken and finish with 21 kills in the match, earning a spot on the NCAA Southeast Regional All-Tournament Team.
