GREENWOOD, Ind. – Georgia College Volleyball's Libby Bochniak (Marietta) made Georgia College history as she was named onto the Google Cloud Academic All-District Team for volleyball, released by College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) on Nov. 15. Bochniak is the first in program history at Georgia College to earn this honor.

The sophomore outside hitter has not only been a standout for the Bobcats this season on the court. Bochniak has also stood out off the court, boasting a 4.0 GPA in Biology, placing her on the first team for volleyball.

The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the link above and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Bochniak is on the NCAA Division II, District 3 First team. The third district includes the Conference Carolinas, the Peach Belt Conference, and the South Atlantic Conference.

The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 DII and DIII Academic AllAmerica® teams.

First-team Academic All-District™ honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot. First-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be released early December.
