FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – Due to scheduling conflicts, the final regular-season matchup for No. 39 Georgia College Women's Tennis (12-7, 5-4 PBC) has been cancelled.
The Bobcats were slotted to play at Emmanuel College today, April 16 at 3 p.m. Emmanuel needed the date to reschedule a postponed conference bout, and with conference tournaments approaching quickly, neither team could find another reschedule date.
GC Women's Tennis now awaits seeding for the upcoming Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament to be held at Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina. The tournament is set for April 19-21.
With an official announcement on the way soon, the Bobcat Women appear to own the No. 5-seed at 5-4, and should open up with No. 36 USC Aiken in an opening-round match.
