SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the final rankings of the 2015 season recently, with Georgia College women's tennis taking a No. 16 position in the final Division II Women's Rankings.
The Bobcats have maintained a top-20 rank since March 25. Georgia College finished its season with an 18-7 mark, falling short in the NCAA Southeast Region #2 Final.
This position improves upon last year's final ranking of No. 27. The Georgia College women were No. 38 at the end of the 2013 season.
The Bobcat women went 18-7 in 2015. The year also highlighted the first 4-0 start since the 2011 season, and an eight-match win streak down the stretch. Camille Clausse-Pujo (Bourdeaux, France) was honored on the All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) First Team, with Macy Polk (Powder Springs, Georgia) taking a second-team nod.
