INDIANAPOLIS, In. – The second National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II Regional Women's Tennis poll was released Wednesday, April 16 with the Bobcat women (15-4, 10-1 PBC) claiming the No. 3 spot in the Southeast Region.
Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams hold the top five spots out of the 10. Armstrong State University and Columbus State University sit above the Bobcats, while Flagler College and GRU Augusta fall just below.
Members of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC), Wingate University, Tusculum College, Queens University of Charlotte, Newberry College and Anderson University, round out the top-10.
This poll determines the five at-large bids to the NCAA Southeast Regional. The conference tournament winners from the PBC, SAC, and Conference Carolinas (CC) all receive automatic bids.
Bobcat Tennis will be back in action Friday, April 17 at 2:30 p.m. as they travel to face conference foe University of North Georgia.
