MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Featuring an impressive nine home matches, the Georgia College Soccer program and head coach Hope Clark released the 2019 GC Soccer schedule Thursday.

The Bobcats have 17 total regular-season matches this year, a good balance of nine at home and eight on the road. The Bobcats will do battle with four teams that took spots in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

The campaign starts in Florida, where GC will travel to Eckerd College Sept. 6 and Florida Southern College Sept. 8.

Next comes the 2019 Bobcat Shootout, a classic-style tourney where Georgia College will take on NCAA Tournament Qualifier and South Atlantic Conference Champion Lincoln Memorial University Sept. 13 and Embry-Riddle University Sept. 15.

The month of September wraps up with Lander University at home, the first Peach Belt Conference (PBC) matchup of the season. Lander qualified for the 2018 NCAA Tourney as well.

October starts with a tough one, taking on the University of North Georgia Oct. 2. Another highlight of the month is a PBC Semifinal rematch at Young Harris College Oct. 23 and traveling to NCAA Tourney Qualifier Flagler College Oct. 19. October also features a battle with the PBC Champions, NCAA Southeast Region Champions, and national-No. 3 Columbus State University Oct. 26 at home.

Two November matches wrap up the regular season, as GC holds Senior Day Nov. 6 against USC Aiken.
