One of the best in Georgia College Men’s Basketball history has returned to Bobcat Nation, as Jeremy Mayweather begins his fourth season as Bobcat Women's Basketball Assistant Coach.
The Peach Belt Conference's (PBC) Player of the Year in 2005-06 while playing for Georgia College, Mayweather spent a season as a men’s assistant coach for Armstrong State University. He has also served as men's basketball assistant coach at Central Georgia Technical College for two seasons, and as a volunteer assistant for GC Women’s Basketball during the 2013-14 season.
A native of Stathan, Ga., Mayweather graduated from Georgia College in 2008 with his bachelor's degree in criminal justice and received his master's degree in education from Walden University in 2010. Mayweather played for two seasons at Georgia College, leading the Bobcats to the NCAA Southeast Region title game as a senior in 2005-06, averaging 13.6 points and 8.8 rebounds per game en route to earning not only PBC Player of the Year but NABC honorable mention All-America honors as well.
