MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior forward La'Shandria Mallard (Perry) of the Georgia College Women's Basketball team (3-5) has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for her efforts during the week ending Dec. 8.
Mallard averaged a double-double this week putting in 11.0 points and 13.5 rebounds per contest over two games. Her best effort came in the win over the University of West Alabama Thursday, scoring 14 points and pulling in 14 rebounds.
The Bobcats are back in action Sunday, Dec. 15 at 1:30 p.m., kicking off Peach Belt Conference (PBC) play at UNC Pembroke.
