GC Softball Joins Nation’s Best, Ranked #20 by NFCA

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the first time this season, the Georgia College Softball team (31-10, 9-1 PBC) has cracked the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Top-25, taking the No. 20 slot.

The Bobcats are one of two Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools in the top-25, joining No. 3 University of North Georgia. The University of West Florida takes the top slot. The Bobcats are one of three new teams to the poll this week, and are ranked the highest in the trio. GC is in the midst of a 14-game win streak, having not lost since March 9.

Georgia College hosts UNG in a ranked battle Sunday, April 14 at the Peeler Complex.

The Bobcats are back in action Friday, April 12 at 4 p.m. for Senior Day against Young Harris College.
