Georgia College Softball Jumps to #14 in NFCA Poll

LOUSIVILLE, Ky. – The Georgia College softball team (34-14, 12-6 PBC) jumped seven spots in the most recent National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Poll, landing at No. 14.

The Bobcats have now appeared on the poll for two weeks in a row, while they have received votes for the past four weeks.  

The University of Indianapolis became the unanimous No. 1 team this week, while Peach Belt Conference (PBC) foe, Armstrong, moved into the No. 2 position.

The University of North Georgia fell from No. 6 to one spot ahead of the Bobcats at No. 13. Columbus State University moved up one spot to No. 23.

The Bobcats enter the PBC Championship Tournament as the No. 2-seed and will take on No. 7-seed Francis Marion University in St. Augustine, Fla. Saturday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m.
