Bobcat Softball Announce “Seniors Day on Senior Day”

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College softball program (23-21, 7-9 PBC) is proud to announce that “Seniors Day on Senior Day” will be Friday, April 13 as the Bobcats look to defeat Lander University at the Peeler Complex a doubleheader set to start at 3 p.m.

The Bobcats will be recognizing four GC senior student-athletes in-between games for their contributions to the softball programs over the last four years. Those seniors being recognized are pitchers Sabrina Chandler (Covington, Ga.) and Haley Burnett (Columbus, Ga.), along with outfielder Caitlin Duvall (Douglasville, Ga.) and infielder Shahlisa Shirley (Winter Garden, Fla.).

GC Athletics will be welcoming senior citizens from Savannah Courts Nursing Home. All senior citizens will receive a free gift from Georgia College.

So come out to support “Seniors Day on Senior Day” Friday, April 13 at 3 p.m.
