INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Georgia College Men's Tennis (11-8) maintains the No. 8 spot in the latest version of the NCAA Southeast Rankings this week, released Wednesday.
The Bobcats are the sixth Peach Belt Conference (PBC) team ranked in the poll. Columbus State University is tops in the region. USC Aiken follows in second, with Flagler College fourth. Lander University is fifth, and the University of North Georgia comes in one slot ahead of GC.
The NCAA poll is used to determine the five at-large bids for the NCAA Southeast Regional sites starting May 11. The winners of the three championship tournaments in the PBC, South Atlantic Conference and Conference Carolinas receive automatic bids. These bids have gone to CSU, Wingate University and Limestone College, respectively. The remaining five spots are determined by the final version of this poll.
