MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Men's Basketball program and head coach Mark Gainous will be hosting a one-day prospect camp for all high school students Saturday, Aug. 31 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Centennial Center.

This one-day camp is for boys in grades 9-12 that have a desire to compete at the collegiate level.  The camp will be led by Georgia College basketball staff and players. Campers will get the exact skill development workouts Bobcat student-athletes go through, and campers will compete against the best players throughout the southeast region.

The 2015-16 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Co-Coach of the Year, Gainous is in his sixth season at Georgia College, owning 70 wins. In 2018, the Bobcats went 17-12 with a 12-10 PBC mark, the most conference victories since 2011-12. Jordan Thomas and Isaac Thomas were named All-PBC, with the latter of the two breaking the career rebounding record for the conference.
