MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior guard Desmond Mitchell-LaFlam (New Smyrna Beach, Florida) hit all seven of his three-point attempts Saturday, sending Georgia College Men's Basketball (11-6, 6-5 PBC) to a 92-82 win over the University of North Georgia (7-10, 2-9 PBC).

The shooting clinic was the best effort in Georgia College history, topping a trio of players at 6-for-6. The most recent of the three was Roosevelt Whitney against UNC Pembroke Jan. 8, 2003. The mark also ties the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) record, a feat also done three times, the most recent coming from Tommy Greer of Augusta State University Feb. 14, 2004.

Mitchell-LaFlam finished with 23 points, hitting all eight of his shots from the floor. The senior played big, but even bigger when it mattered most, going 6-for-6 from three-point land in the second half. The 23 points was the second 20-point game this season for the senior guard, matching his Bobcat career high set Jan. 6, 2017 against UNC Pembroke. Mitchell-LaFlam added a game-high six assists as well.

The win was Georgia College's fourth-straight at home, as the Bobcats haven't lost in the Centennial Center in 2019.

Sophomore Jordan Thomas (Conyers) had 17 points on 8-for-14 shooting, and junior Kohl Roberts (Atlanta) added 16 of his own. Sophomore Justin Cave (Savannah) posted a season-best 10 points off the bench, including a pair of threes.

The Bobcats are back in action Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m., traveling to Young Harris College (9-9, 7-5 PBC). The Mountain Lions most recently lost 105-96 today at Columbus State University.
