MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Bobcat Competition Cheer Team will be hosting tryouts for the 2018-19 season Friday, Sept. 7 at the Centennial Center. Tryouts will begin at 6:30 p.m., but athletes are encouraged to arrive early to provide ample time for the check-in process.

Athletes interested in trying out for the team will be required to have a cleared physical from the past six months.

The attire for tryouts would be for females: black spandex/shorts, black tank top, white socks with white cheer shoes and a white bow in your hair (straight ponytail), for males: black shorts, black shirt and cheer shoes. Tryouts will consist of stunting, tumbling (running and standing), jumps and a cheer. All tumbling will be required on a hard cheer floor but you also may be asked to throw some standing tumbling on the basketball court for future basketball games.

For more information about appropriate attire or tryout criteria please contact head coach Kirstie Murner via email at .
