MILLEDGEVILLE, GA. – The Georgia College Baseball team and head coach Jason Eller released their 2020 schedule Thursday.
The Bobcats start their season with three weekend contests at the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida. The season will kick off with two neutral site games played Friday and Saturday. The Bobcats open their season against the Queens University Royals Friday, Jan. 31, at 1 p.m. The next contest comes Saturday, Feb. 1, against the University of Mount Olive Trojans. The weekend will conclude with a contest against the host No. 1 Tampa Spartans on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 3 p.m.
The Bobcats home opener will be held Tuesday, Feb. 4, against the University of West Georgia Wolves at John Kurtz Field on Georgia College's West Campus.
The Bobcats open up conference play on the road with a three-game weekend series at the Augusta University Jaguars in Augusta. The conference opener will be played Friday, Feb. 7, with games two and three following on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 8 and 9.
Conference play at home will open up with a three-game weekend series against the Francis Marion University Patriots from John Kurtz Field. The conference home opener will come Friday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. The next two games will follow Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m.
The Bobcats will travel to face the defending Peach Belt Conference Champion University of North Georgia Nighthawks in a three game weekend series Feb. 28-Mar. 1 from Dahlonega.
The home portion of the Bobcats regular season will come to a close with a non-conference game against the Clark Atlanta University Panthers Wednesday, April 22 at 4 p.m. from Kurtz Field.
The Bobcats conclude their regular season with a two-game weekend series at the defending Conference Carolinas Champion No. 7 North Greenville University Crusaders Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2 in Tigerville, South Carolina.
