BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – Former Georgia College Baseball All-American hurler Michael Antonini (2007) has been chosen to the 2019 Atlantic League All-Star Game, representing the Somerset Patriots.

Antonini has been the Independent Atlantic League's premier closer, leading all relievers with 25 saves. He's among the league leaders with 29 games and carries a 2.17 ERA and 29 strikeouts over 29 innings pitched.

The Aston, Pennsylvania native was an All-American in for the Bobcats 2006 and in his two seasons after transferring from Glouster County College, went 18-7 with a 3.42 ERA. Antonini also fanned 153 in his 192 innings over that two-year span as the Bobcat ace.

The All-Star Game will be held tonight, July 10 at PeoplesBank Park in York, Pennsylvania.
