SAVANNAH, Ga. – Georgia College Baseball righthander Chris Rolick (Marietta) helped his Fan Vote All-Star squad pick up a 1-0 win over the West All-Stars in the opening round of the Coastal Plain League All-Star Showdown Sunday.

Rolick tossed an unblemished second inning in the three-frame exhibition. The lone baserunner to reach via walk was wiped out attempting to steal.

Rolick's Fan Vote All-Star squad will move on to the Semifinals today, July 8 at 6 p.m. to face the Hometown Savannah squad. The 6-foot-6 righty has been tough all summer, notching four saves with a 3.72 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 9 2/3 innings for the Macon Bacon.
