SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Coastal Plain League (CPL) has announced the rosters for the 2019 All-Star Showdown set to begin Sunday, July 7. Georgia College senior Kyle King (Johns Creek) was named to the All-Star Semi-Finals Pitchers Arm Pool.

The CPL All-Star Showdown has a rather detailed format. Consisting of six teams, the two teams that advance to the Semi-Finals will draft three pitchers from this pool.

King has been a standout for the Gastonia Grizzlies this summer, boasting a 3-1 record with a league-best 1.50 ERA. He ranks third in the league in wins, fourth in strikeouts with 28 and fourth in innings at 24.

In addition, one of the teams will be the Fan Voted All-Stars. Fans will be in control of picking this 12 member team, ballots closing Thursday, June 27 at 5 p.m. eastern. Three Bobcats are on the ballot for this squad, with the Macon Bacon's Cal Gentry (Perry) listed at second base and Chris Rolick (Marietta) at pitcher, and the Fayetteville SwampDogs' KC Brown (Rincon) available at third base.
