Josh Taylor (2014)
Recalled to Boston Red Sox bullpen June 14 … Since his recall, hasn't allowed a run in four appearances … Most recent outing provided a hitless inning with strikeouts of Yoan Moncada and Yolmer Sanchez in a team win over the Chicago White Sox June 24 … Overall in the big leagues this season, has a 5.19 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 8 2/3 innings … Among his 14 whiffs are six-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger Nelson Cruz, former All-Star and Silver Slugger Chris Davis, former All-Star Miguel Sano, and former first-round draft picks in Austin Meadows and Aaron Hicks.


Brandon Benson (2017)
Outfielder for the Peoria Chiefs, Class A Full Season affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals in the Midwest League … Is 7-for-48 this season, scoring six runs, swatting two home runs and driving in four … Went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs vs. Burlington June 16 … Peoria is 30-39, seventh in the Midwest League Western Division.


Brandon Purcell (2018)
On the roster as a catcher for the Johnson City Cardinals, Rookie League Advanced affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals in the Appalachian League … Drove in a run with his lone at-bat so far this season June 19.


Michael Antonini (2007)
Pitcher for the Somerset Patriots in the independent Atlantic League … Has made 24 relief appearances, owning a 1.17 ERA and a 1-1 record with a league-high 21 saves … Tallied 24 strikeouts in 23 innings … Picked up 21st save in 4-1 win over Long Island Ducks June 19, getting the final three outs without a hit … The Patriots are 33-22, second in the Liberty Division.
