Bobcat Assistant Coach Helps Guide 15u Squad to Tourney Title

DUNWOODY, Ga. – Georgia College Baseball assistant coach Kane Keith is staying busy this summer, serving as pitching coach for the Team Elite 15u Scout Team, including helping the squad to recent success.

Keith helped his squad take the tournament championship at the 15u Perfect Game East Cobb Invitational, besting 40 other teams.

The Team Elite 15u Scout Team beat the East TN Crusaders in the title matchup 15-5. The semifinal bout was an 8-0 victory for the Team Elite over the East Cobb Astros. Boston College commit Aeden Finateri and Bauer Brittain combined for the no-hitter.

Another former Bobcat, Daniel Szathmary (2013) is on the staff, serving as 15u Assistant Manager. Szathmary also serves as head coach of the JV squad at Milton High School.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
