ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – For the second-straight season, Georgia College outfielder Wesley Wommack (Monroe, Georgia) earned a spot on the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) All-Tournament Team, the conference office announced.
The 2018 PBC Tournament MVP, Wommack swatted a pair of home runs in the three Bobcat games during pool play of the tourney. The senior finished the final action of his career going 4-for-10 (.400) with three RBIs and four runs scored.
The loss brings a close to the season for GC Baseball, a year in which they went 26-21, reaching as high as No. 6 in the nation. GC put four on the All-PBC Teams this season, led by seniors Garrett Green and Wommack on the first team, with Cal Gentry and PBC Freshman of the Year Cam Hill as second-team selections.
