Josh Taylor (2014)

Pitcher for the Jackson Generals of the Double-A Southern League, affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks … Is 4-5 with a 4.80 ERA for the Generals starting all 14 of his games … Has made three quality starts, totaling 13 strikeouts over 18 innings … Most recent win came against Jacksonville, going 7 1/3 innings with one earned run on eight hits and fanning 10 … Team went 37-33 in the first half, good for second in the Southern League North Division.


Brandon Benson (2014-17)

Outfielder for the State College Spikes of the Single-A Short Season New York-Penn League, affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals … Played in his first game Thursday, going 1-for-4 with a run scored in the 9-1 win over Batavia … Team is now 2-2, good for third in the Pickney Division.


Daniel Bick (2011-14)

Shortstop for the Ottawa Champions of the independent Can-Am League … Hitting .245 with two home runs and 12 RBIs in his 31 games this season … Has also stolen 12 bases … Team is now 12-21, good for fifth in the league standings … Helped lead team to league championship in 2016.
