MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Get an update on former Georgia College student-athletes working their way through the ranks of professional baseball.

Josh Taylor (2014)

Pitcher for the Mobile BayBears of the Double-A Southern League, affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks … Is 2-0 with a 0.96 ERA for the BayBears since his callup … Has made three quality starts, totaling 13 strikeouts over 18 innings … Named Southern League Pitcher of the Week for two victories in his first two starts … Team is 13-13 in the second half, good for fourth in the Southern League South Division.

Dylan Cook (2016)

Infielder for the AZL Dodgers of the Arizona Rookie League, affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers … Cook is hitting .281 in his first 11 games as a pro … He swatted his first pro home run July 2 in a win over the AZL Brewers, a solo shot in the fourth … Overall he has two RBIs and a run scored with four extra-base hits … Team is 16-8, second in the Arizona League Central.

Michael Antonini (2007)

Pitcher for the Bridgeport Bluefish of the Independent Atlantic League … 4-6 with a 2.86 ERA in his 15 starts for Bridgeport … Went five strong in a win over Sugar Land July 16 … The Bluefish are 8-6 in the second half, good for second place in the Liberty Division.

Daniel Bick (2014)

Bick is an infielder for the Ottawa Champions of the Independent Can-Am League … Is hitting .230 with 28 hits in his 35 games this season, adding six RBI, seven steals and 19 runs scored … Ottawa is 5-5 in the second half, good for second in the Can-Am League.

Clay Ardeeser (2015)

A first baseman for the Garden City Wind of the Independent Pecos League … Ardeeser continues to dazzle Pecos League pitching, leading the Wind in average (.417), hits (95), RBIs (69), doubles (16), slugging (.632) and on-base percentage (.483) … He's also ripped 11 home runs … Garden City is 34-23, sitting atop the North Division standings.

Chris Gammon (2016)

A reliever for the Garden City Wind of the Independent Pecos League … Gammon has made 15 appearances, owning a 2.57 ERA and team-high five saves … He's notched 18 strikeouts over his 14 innings pitched … Garden City is 34-23, sitting atop the North Division standings.

Tanner Giesel (2016)

An infielder for the Tucson Saguaros of the Independent Pecos League … Giesel is hitting .340 with four home runs, 32 RBIs and 32 runs scored in a great start to his pro career … Fifteen of his 51 hits have gone for extra bases … The Saguaros are 46-13, the best record in the Pecos League.
