MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Get an update on former Georgia College student-athletes working their way through the ranks of professional baseball.

Josh Taylor (2014)

Pitcher for the Visalia Rawhide of the Class-A Advanced California League, affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks … Is 2-7 with a 5.47 ERA for the Rawhide this season … Leads team with 68 strikeouts over his 72 1/3 innings … Has appeared in 14 games with 12 starts … Struck out 13 in seven shutout innings June 10, getting the win against Lancaster … Team finished first in California League North in the first half, currently 2-3 in the second half.

Dylan Cook (2016)

Infielder for the AZL Dodgers of the Arizona Rookie League, affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers … Cook is 4-for-14 (.286) in his first five games as a pro … Half of his hits have gone for doubles, and he has one RBI … Team is 4-3, tops in the Arizona League Central.

Michael Antonini (2007)

Pitcher for the Bridgeport Bluefish of the Independent Atlantic League … 3-6 with a 2.66 ERA in his 13 starts for Bridgeport … Has just one earned run over his last two starts, a total of 11 innings … The Bluefish are 27-37 in fourth place in the Liberty Division.

Daniel Bick (2014)

Bick is an infielder for the Ottawa Champions of the Independent Can-Am League … Has gone 8-for-49 (.163) in his 15 games this season, adding four RBI and four runs scored … Ottawa is 19-17, good for fifth in the Can-Am League.

Clay Ardeeser (2015)

A first baseman for the Garden City Wind of the Independent Pecos League … Ardeeser leads the Wind in average (.406), hits (58), RBIs (37) and on-base percentage (.466) … He's also ripped seven home runs and is slugging .601 … Garden City is 19-16, sitting atop the North Division standings.

Chris Gammon (2016)

A reliever for the Garden City Wind of the Independent Pecos League … Gammon has made five appearances, owning a 1.80 ERA and one save … He's notched a strikeout for each of his five innings pitched … Garden City is 19-16, sitting atop the North Division standings.

Tanner Giesel (2016)

An infielder for the Tucson Saguaros of the Independent Pecos League … Giesel is hitting .375 with three home runs, 14 RBIs and 19 runs scored in a great start to his pro career … Ten of his 30 hits have gone for extra bases … The Saguaros are 31-9, the best record in the Pecos League.
