GARDEN CITY, Kan. – Former Georgia College Baseball standout Clay Ardeeser (2012-15) recently signed to play professional baseball for the Garden City Wind, a member of the independent Pecos League, trading one "GC" on his hat for another.
Ardeeser goes down as one of the top first basemen in school history. A three-time All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) honoree, he reached All-Southeast Region status in both his junior and senior campaigns as well.
The lefty slugger finished his career with 29 home runs and 196 RBIs, hitting .364 over his four seasons as a Bobcat, with 270 career hits.
The schedule starts Thursday, May 19 as the Wind take on the Trinidad Triggers.
