Women’s Basketball Legend Chamique Holdsclaw to Visit Georgia College

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College campus is excited to have women’s basketball legend Chamique Holdsclaw on campus for a screening and panel discussion surrounding the film “Mind Game: the Unquiet Journey of Chamique Holdsclaw” Monday, March 6.

A three-time NCAA Champion at the University of Tennessee, Holdsclaw played in the WNBA until 2010. A six-time WNBA All-Star and two-time Naismith Award winner, Holdsclaw now tours events as a mental health advocate.

The panel and film screening will be in Georgia College’s Arts & Sciences Auditorium Monday, March 6 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  The event is sponsored by Georgia College

Athletics, Department of Government and Sociology, Athletics, School of Health and Human Performance, Department of Theatre and Dance, Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, Office of Inclusive Excellence, Department of History and Geography, Department of Art, and Active Minds.
