MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Georgia College Tennis will be holding a match against Francis Marion University Sunday, March 29 at 11 a.m. The match will be held at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility, and all attendees are encouraged to wear green in support of our Bobcats. The first 30 people to arrive will receive a free t-shirt.
Both tennis teams are having excellent seasons thus far, with the women and men ranked third and fourth in the region, respectively, as of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) most recent poll.
The teams’ next match is Friday, March 27 in Savannah against Concordia College (N.Y.), and then the women have matches Saturday, March 28 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. against UNC Pembroke and Clark Atlanta University, respectively.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
