ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Senior Chandler Ewaldsen (Savannah) of the Georgia College volleyball team has finished out her career strong by earning a spot on the NCAA Southeast Regional All-Tournament Team. Ewaldsen recorded 33 digs in the Bobcats' win over USC Aiken, and added 16 in the semifinals against Wingate University.
The senior has been a force all season, tallying 601 total digs, 251 of those in Peach Belt Conference (PBC) play, and averaging over five digs per set.
Ewaldsen's play helped the Bobcats to a remarkable season, posting a 24-8 overall record, going 8-4 in the PBC and making it to the semifinals of the Southeast Regional.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
