MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior Ebony Powers (Jacksonville, Florida) of the Georgia College Volleyball team (21-6) has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 12.
Powers had another strong week, averaging 3.14 kills and 2.71 digs per set over three matches. Her best match was the one against Flagler College Sunday, going for a 15-kill, 14-dig double-double, adding three aces and a pair of blocks.
The Bobcats are back in action Friday, Nov. 17, playing host to the 2017 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Volleyball Tournament. No. 3-seed Georgia College will take on No. 6-seed Francis Marion University at 6:30 p.m.
