TUCSON, Ariz. – The latest round of Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Rankings were released Wednesday, with Georgia College Women's Tennis (13-8) taking the No. 33 slot in the country, a one-slot jump from last week.
Richter is 9-10 on the season, all in the top slot for GC. She's taken on eight nationally-ranked opponents this season. Moving up two spots is Lopez who owns a team-best 17-2 with an 8-1 record in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC). She owns wins in 11 of her last 12 bouts. No. 46 is a season-high for GC singles players this season.
Georgia College is one of five nationally-ranked teams from the PBC, led by No. 5 Columbus State University. The University of North Georgia is 12th, followed by No. 18 Flagler College and No. 37 USC Aiken.
