Jamie Madewell-Grodecki completed her first season as the Bobcats' head coach, finishing with a 15-35 record, 9-11 in the Peach Belt Conference. 

Madewell-Grodecki finished her third season as head softball coach at St. Petersburg College in 2010. Over the last three seasons, she has placed second in the Suncoast Conference and earned bids to the FCCAA State Tournament three years in a row. She compiled a 102-51-1 (.666) record in her three years overseeing the program. While at SPC she has had a number of athletes attain academic and athletic recognition, including a team GPA of 3.2 or higher each year and numerous All-Conference Academic team selections. On the field in three years she had over 20 1st & 2nd team All-Conference Selections and 2 All-State Members, and 14 athletes have been awarded scholarships to move on to play at the next level after graduating from St. Petersburg College

Prior to her arrival at St. Petersburg, she coached for six years at the Division I and II levels. At Southern Arkansas University she was the head coach for two seasons, leading her team to the conference tournament in both seasons with an overall 53-58 record. She also spent two years as an assistant coach at Delta State University working with infield, hitting instruction, and the strength and conditioning program, helping guide Delta State to the 2005 Gulf South Conference (GSC) West Division championship and tournament finals.

Before her time on the Delta State staff, Madewell-Grodecki was an assistant at the University of Alabama-Birmingham from 2001-03, working with the outfield and in-state recruiting. Madewell-Grodecki received her B.B.A. from the University of Alabama-Huntsville, and her M.Ed. in Physical Education from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

Madewell-Grodecki was a two-sport athlete at Alabama-Huntsville, competing in softball from 1995-2000 and volleyball from 1995-99. She was a member of three GSC champion softball teams (1996, 1999 and 2000) with four regional appearances and a College World Series appearance in 1999.

A native of Huntsville, Ala. she is married to Andrew Grodecki.
