MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) recently announced its All-Southeast Region Softball team, with senior outfielder Holland Coursey (Sugar Hill) earning a spot on the first team for No. 20 Georgia College Softball (36-16).

The honor gives Coursey consensus All-Region First Team status after taking a spot on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) list as well. An All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) First Team honoree, Coursey hit .401 this season with a pair of home runs, 35 RBIs and 36 runs scored. She ranks fourth in the PBC in batting average, 10th in hits and 11th in on-base percentage.

All-time, GC Softball has earned 24 All-Region honors from this system, 15 of which coming during the eight seasons with Jamie Grodecki as head coach.

Coursey will now move on to the All-America Ballot, with an announcement coming Wednesday, May 23.

The season has come to a close for Bobcat Softball, a year in which the Bobcats went 36-16 and took the No. 2-seed in the PBC Tournament.
