MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Officials for the 2018 Mid-South Tournament have released the schedule for the annual classic, with Georgia College Softball learning their four opponents for Feb. 24-25.
Action starts Saturday, Feb. 24 at noon, when the Bobcats take on Lincoln Memorial University. The Railsplitters went 23-22 in 2017, and are members of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC).
Saturday's doubleheader also brings a matchup against Converse College at 2 p.m. The Valkyries were 5-33 in 2017 and are members of the Conference Carolinas (CC).
Sunday, Feb. 25 the Bobcats square off with the University of Mount Olive at noon. The Trojans went 25-29 last season, including a pair of losses in the CC Tournament.
The tournament wraps up with Limestone College, the toughest of the quartet at 2 p.m. The Saints went 45-13 in 2017, and were NCAA Regional qualifiers.
The Bobcats get the season underway at the Southern Softball Showdown in Columbus, Feb. 3-4.
