TUCSON, Ariz. – Georgia College Tennis senior Pedro Ecenarro (Santiago de Compostella, Spain) has cemented his spot among the best in school history, joining the list of Division II Men's Tennis All-Americans released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association this week.

Always a gritty competitor, Ecenarro had a stellar senior season going 14-4 in first singles, including a 7-2 mark in the always-tough Peach Belt Conference (PBC). Over the course of the season, he beat three nationally-ranked opponents in No. 13 Luca Bolla of Flagler College, No. 14 Jordi Mas of Valdosta State University and No. 31 Eirik Groner of Lander University.

Ecenarro joins the lengthy list of GC Men's Tennis All-Americans, now totaling 19 all-time. The most recent All-Americans were Yannick Hass in singles and Hass and Christian Graff in doubles in 2016. This is the 15th All-America honor for Bobcat Tennis in head coach Steve Barsby's tenure.

The season has come to a close for Bobcat Men's Tennis, a year in which Georgia College went 11-11, taking a spot in the NCAA Southeast Regional for the 13th year in a row. The Bobcats also had Ecenarro and Jannik Kumbier earn All-PBC honors for singles along with the pairing of Kumbier and Robin Moller earning the accolade in doubles.
