FLORENCE, S.C. – The offense for the No. 6 Georgia College Baseball team (11-9, 5-5 PBC) ran quiet Sunday, as the Bobcats dropped a 5-1 decision to Francis Marion University (15-7, 8-4 PBC), also falling in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) series to the Patriots 2-1.

The Bobcats managed just a single run on six hits, the score coming in the eighth on a solo blast by Will Hudgins (Dunwoody, Georgia) to center. The round-tripper was the first in Hudgins' Bobcat career as he has joined Georgia College for his final collegiate season.

Righty starter Chandler Amason (Grayson, Georgia) went six innings in the loss (0-1). He fanned five while allowing four runs.

The Bobcats are back in action Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m., playing host to the University of North Georgia.
