GC Baseball Maintains Spots in Three National Rank Lists

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Baseball team (27-8, 19-2 PBC) is positioned in the top-15 in all three Division II National polls, showcased as high as No. 4 in the nation.

The Bobcats are one of two Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams ranked in the top 15 by Collegiate Baseball, with Columbus State University coming in at No. 8 overall. Just one other PBC team is ranked in the top 30, with UNC Pembroke at No. 21. Azuza Pacific University is the nation's top team at 27-3.

Perfect Game has Georgia College in its highest position of the three at No. 4. Four PBC teams are in this poll, with CSU at No. 13, followed by No. 17 USC Aiken and No. 21 UNCP. Florida Southern College owns the top spot at 29-4-1.

In the NCBWA National poll, the Bobcats jumped five spots to No. 10. Columbus State is No. 20 in this list. Azuza Pacific is tops here as well.

The Bobcats are back in action Friday, April 13 at 6 p.m., playing host to Flagler College.
