MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – With the Georgia College campus shutdown continuing to Wednesday, the Bobcat Athletics contests with the University of West Georgia this week have been cancelled.
GC Volleyball was originally set for a home matchup with the Wolves Tuesday, Sept. 12 and Bobcat Soccer was scheduled to travel to Carrollton Wednesday. Both matches have been postponed due to weather and both departments will work to find future dates to reschedule the important region contests.
As of now, next up for Bobcat Volleyball is a home match against Paine College Saturday, Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. The Bobcat Soccer team is back in action at home as well Saturday, hosting the University of North Georgia for the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) opener.
